I love walking alongside new and seasoned teachers as they take on new challenges. As an instructional mentor and having worked on shaping a mentorship program, my goal is simple: help colleagues feel seen, not just evaluated, because that’s when sustainable growth happens.

I want students to leave my classroom more capable than when they entered it – not only with stronger historical knowledge, but with greater confidence in asking difficult questions, building arguments, and thinking for themselves. That growth begins with knowing them well enough to challenge them meaningfully.
